   Qualifications & Experience:
   The job holder must have :
   • BSc in a Technical related discipline.
   • 2 year experience working on Environmental permitting and reporting activities within the RoK
   • Knowledge of environmental issues within the RoK is desirable.
   • English language skills is a must.
   The job holder will be required to complete ROK Safety Knowledge Assessment (SKA Blue Book) within one month of taking up the position.
   Advantageous Qualifications/Experience
   Kazakh language skills would be a distinct advantage.
   
   Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
   The job holder is responsible for:
   • Compliance monitoring, including:
   • Organisation of offshore and onshore sample collection for compliance monitoring;
   • Preparation of sampling schedule and follow up for compliance with the schedule;
   • Data analysis for completeness and accuracy;
   • Informing Line Management about sampling monitoring compliance;
   • Providing technical advice to Contractor staff responsible for sampling as required.
   
   • Monitoring of environmental database, including:
   • Liaison with contractors focal points;
   • Liaison with contractor laboratory and service providers;
   • Provide contractors with support / advice on technical issues.
   
   • Environmental permitting issues, including:
   • Collection of technical data for Permit project preparation; technical advice on compliance monitoring issues;
   • Reviewing Permit projects developed by contractors to meet company requirements;
   • Control of timely execution of additional conditions / comments/proposals by authorities on Projects conclusions.
   
   • Onshore impact monitoring issues, including:
   • Organisation of RoK regulators field visits;
   • Sampling;
   • Delivery of samples;
   • Recording of data.
